I was married in 1966 to a very special lady called Shirley. She always had a heart that pursued after God and this had a dramatic effect on my life. Without her love for God and myself, her loyalty, I would have been a different person. She completes me.

I am a retired police officer having served 34 years. After 8 years in the work force, I had seen life at its worst. This world did not make sense and I wanted off. With a heart that was searching for answers, God responded. He always opens his arms to a searching heart. During the rest of my career, He used me often to tell of His love. It’s His love that started our church family. We started to hand out free hot dogs and drinks on the streets of Alexandria. This opportunity was used to tell people that God loved them. God began to send other believers to assist us. We, at The Fountain believe, we are to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo heavy burdens and to let the oppressed go free and to break every yoke. To share bread with the hungry and to bring the poor into our house, cover the naked and not to hide ourselves from the pains outside the walls of the church (see Is.58:6-7). To be fountains for the living Lord, allowing His living water to flow through us, resulting in Him rebuilding and repairing wasted lives.

The past few years, have been ones of preparation for us. He is healing us and helping us to know and understand who we are in Christ. Learning to operate in His authority.
